Who We Are

Restored Hope Zambia UK is a Christian Scottish Registered Charity that supports overseas work in Zambia in tackling abuse in the Zambian church. Our vision is to restore hope to church abuse survivors and create an environment in Zambian churches the vulnerable, especially women and children are safe and can flourish.

What We Do

We support the work of Restored Hope Zambia (RHZ) in the following areas:

Securing Funding For Support

Securing funding to support the operational activities of Restored Hope Zambia which include:
  • provision of free counselling and legal advice for those who have been abused in churches
  • raising awareness of abuse dynamics training and equipping church leaders in safeguarding and responding well to abuse
  • social policy reform on systems of safeguarding and access to justice

Trauma Informed Counsellors

Provision of additional certified trauma-informed counsellors to support Restored Hope Zambia with training on trauma informed care

Training & Resources

Sourcing and funding resources and training for Restored Hope Zambia to support the organisation in achieving its aims and objectives.
